The world recognizes the Indian Army as being one of the best trained and most professional. When I refer to the Army, I refer to all three arms of the defense forces i.e. the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
We all know and recognize the role that our soldiers play in ensuring that India remains protected from external threats while ensuring that the sanctity of the defense services acts as a binding force amongst all citizens. But what we do not understand is that behind the forces stands a silent soldier. An unsung hero who remains in the shadows and plays out a part that is not seen but only felt. A soldier that provides the strength, the security, the support, the comfort and steadfast assurance to the forces to go out and do what needs to be done….for the NATION. Numerous instances, uncountable sacrifices, so many unaccounted ones. Yes, this is a salute to that silent soldier.

As we head towards another year, let us take a moment to pause and glance the past in retrospect of the unconditional sacrifices made by these unsung heroes. Let us hold our hands together to salute these unsung heroes for their bravery and valor. Atharva Foundation is proud to host the platform where in these stories of bravery could be honored to inculcate a sense of togetherness, unity, love and patriotism and as mark of respect to the fallen guardians. This auspicious event named ‘One for All, All for one’ is to be held on 31st January 2018 @NSCI DOME, Worli, Mumbai at 6:30 PM. This event is to inspire the youth and create awareness among the youth not just by celebrating the martyrdom of the soldiers but also igniting the fire of patriotism in those young minds.
