Patriotism, which is the ideology of attachment to one's nation is all about presenting our Unconditional love & Respect for our highly esteemed peacekeeping troops, whom we know as the Indian Armed Forces. We smell the sublime nature of Indian Army by the very motto they live by: "Service Before Self".
Serving the nation through a service in the Indian army, airforce or navy is an opportunity full of valour, fortitude & bravery. Moreover, it is an opportunity to repay the debts of Mother India with a belief that independence doesn't come for free.
The motivation that urges them to do so is the pledge that they will Work Hard as if it is a "Do or Die" situation, no matter whatever happens. The Irony we see is that these Brave people who are least concerned about their own lives, live for the other 1.3 billion people of India who they don't even know of. Just because they belong to a mutual motherland, they take the responsibility to protect them from any harm or suffering. The fact is that these mighty heroic warriors aren't just attracted by the camouflage Uniforms or the respect that they receive from their fellow citizens but the sole intention of patriotism for our country India.
Despite all other benefits of serving the country, it is also commendable to know that they have to compromise with all other pleasures that a common citizen lives with, including family togetherness, enjoying a regular life with friends or maybe going for a vacation whenever one wishes to. But still, they don't ever compromise with the “Quality Of Service”.
Thus it obviously becomes appealing for us to Celebrate the superhuman virtues of Indian Armed Forces for serving our country. All we can do is to shower our love & respect for them and be grateful for all that we owe them for our perpetual security.
The best way to show our affection & respect for them is to gather and give them the respect that they truly deserve.
